Preprimary Program (Age 3 to 5)

Our Early Year’s Preprimary program, known as Lioncrest Kids, is designed to foster a love for learning from the very beginning. Rooted in the principles of inquiry and exploration, our educators engage young minds through hands-on experiences and guided discovery in a caring, nurturing and diverse environment.

Our Preprimary classrooms are dynamic spaces where children can move around and actively participate in interactive projects, experiments, and collaborative activities. We emphasize the development of critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. We celebrate the unique strengths and interests of each child, ensuring a holistic approach to early education.

Inquiry-Based Learning (Grades 1-5)

Inquiry-based learning allows children to acquire knowledge and understand concepts through their active participation in the learning process. They engage with subject matter by being challenged to ask questions, to think about and reflect on their understanding, and to tackle real-life problems. Inquiry-based classrooms embrace experiential learning and involve students in the discovery, sorting, analysis, and evaluation of information.

Bloom’s Taxonomy model of higher-order thinking is used to move students beyond a simple grasp of information and concepts, into deeper analysis, application, evaluation and finally creation.

The development of values and essential skills (communication, thinking, social, research, and self-management) are also integrated with learning engagements.

An end goal for our inquiry-based program is to develop children into ethical, independent, and enthusiastic, lifelong learners who have mastery over the essential workplace and leadership skills they need to succeed and thrive.

Cambridge Curriculum (Grade 6-8)

The Cambridge Curriculum program has a reputation for providing excellent preparation for university and employment. Its mandate is to create students who are confident, responsible, reflective, innovative, and engaged. Students are exposed to concept-based learning and in-depth subject knowledge as well as being provided opportunities to develop workplace and future study skills. Internationally recognized IGCSE qualifications are gained at the end of Year 10. Leading universities and employers worldwide value Cambridge qualifications as evidence of academic ability.
